Writer / Blogger of Jamaican Til I Die
You are one of the few non-Jamaicans who can tell me something positive or negative about Jamaica and I would listen and take it seriously. You have passed the tourist stage from your first visit, you have also passed the visitor and traveler stages as this is the highest stage most non-Jamaicans will ever reach. You my dear girl have reached the Jamaican Stage, now go get your passport and remember to vote or run for office.

I got to know Kristi (aka Jammie) through her blog. I spent a lot of time on her pages asking questions and picking up Jamaica travel tips. As someone who’s always loved Jamaica but was only on trip #2 I was eager to get to know the real Jamaica. It just so happened at the time of my next trip Kristi was living in Ocho Rios so we made plans to link, and she was a life saver throughout our stay. She lent me a phone for the week, can’t thank her enough for that. We also took a day trip to some unexplored territory on Hamilton Mountain where we climbed (drove and walked really) a mountain, played UNO (yes I said UNO), sampled fresh mint tea, hung out at a roadside bar. Needless to say that day trip was fun filled. On our last night Kristi took us to a local bar in Ochi and we got to take in the real Jamaica, hanging out and taking it easy. My cousin and I still talk about the fun we had and “the bar Kristi took us toâ€. Thanks Kristi for helping to make our trip awesome! We hope that we will get to hang out with you this coming spring when we return.

“Kristi Keller to my mind is the consummate business owner with an obvious passion for her vocation. Her expositions on places visited & experiences in exotic locales and places off the beaten track always leaves her readers wanting to leave their computers and head straight to their travel agents. Miss Keller, just ‘Kristi’ to her legions of online followers loves what she does and her finished work always leaves you wanting more.â€

“Kristi is one of the brightest and most enthusiastic people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting through the passion we share for beautiful Jamaica, West Indies!! She is a talented writer; she has a great understanding of people and the skills to communicate their stories to the world with wonderful humor and compassion. She is also on the cutting edge of what’s new in the world of social media and networking, which makes her all the more valuable. Kristi Keller is going places. Don’t you want to be part of it? I do, and I look forward to more collaboration to promote our mutual Jamaica love-fest!! She is truly an amazing resource and I would recommend her to anybody.â€
“I LOVE your blog! I’ve been through almost ALL of you posts. I like that you don’t stay in a hotel and have the continental breakfast and ride around in a tour bus all day. You get out there! Keep it up! We need more tourists like you, not afraid to explore.”
