Second Anniversary!

This marks the end of the second year of Jamaica My Way. Are you guys bored yet?

I just re-read my LAST POST from 2009 and it seems I’ve slacked a little in this second year. I went from 122 posts in 2009 to only 72 posts in 2010 even though I managed to go to Jamaica four times this year!

First of all I’d like to thank everyone for their continued support. When I look at my stats over the last year they’ve continually risen and I’m up over 11,000 unique visitors per month! However, that being said, I think I’m deleting an average of 500 spam comments every week! But I know my real readers are out there too….some of you are diehard and I truly appreciate it! Shane, Chelsea and RandomRae I think are in the top 3 spots for comments.

I have to admit I’m getting a little worn out of posting on this blog because it’s been difficult to find new material – budget constraints are killer! However I’m going to mix it up a little in 2011 since I’ll be in Jamaica full time starting in March. A lot of new things are on the horizon and they won’t be a part of this blog – but don’t worry, I’ll still be posting AND I’ll be redirecting you to the big new project I’m launching shortly. Almost all of 2010 I was working behind the scenes to prepare for great new things.

MANY MANY thanks to ALL of my Facebook fans, my Farrin Alliance posse, all my new Twitter contacts I’ve made, and thanks to my son who’s given me nothing but encouragement along the way. He even gave me a custom engraved Jamaica My Way pewter flask in a nice engraved black case! I tried taking photos of it but the thing is so shiney you can’t see the engraving. Believe me that flask will be put to good use in Jamaica! 😀

I’ve met lots of my readers in 2010 and I hope to link with MANY more of you in 2011.
