Sangster Airport – Montego Bay

A friend of mine found this video on Youtube and she posted it for me asking “how does this video make you feel?”

After watching it I felt sick in my stomach! I’ve flown in and out of this airport nine times out of ten trips (so far) and it’s impossible to describe the feelings associated with it! When arriving in Jamaica the intense feelings of joy and butterflies in my stomach are overwhelming. When leaving, the heaviest feelings of sadness and sorrow overtake me.

This is a fabulous video and once you go, YOU WILL KNOW!

    *Sigh* – Sadness indeed. I was just there last week, and I cried like a baby (again) when I had to leave. This was my first time flying in through Mo Bay, but the feeling of saturated sorrow and breathtaking despair that overcomes you when you arrive to the departure lounge is the same, no matter which airport you leave from. I’m actually in the process of moving back home (I’ve been to Jamaica 8 times last year alone), so hopefully I won’t have to experience this sadness with leaving again :-(. You should come visit! We’ll go to Hellshire Beach and eat fish and festival! 😀

      I’m heading back down in Feb, then probably July and hopefully that’ll be my last trips too! I’ve already got my apartment there! I’d love to hit Hellshire beach, I’ve heard its awesome down there…never been to that part of the island yet!

      I TOTALLY get what you mean about being saturated with sorrow when leaving. It doesn’t get better EVER!

    At first I was like why is everyone so sad? And then i watched……. I wanna go back to Jamaicaaaaa!!!!! 😀
